My name is Jessica Runge

 

On the following pages I would like to introduce my small Kennel.

 

 

I lived in Germany until August 2022, in a small town called “Hollen” directly at the Wietingsmoor. There  We lived on a smal Farm with a large property.

I noticed my passion for this powerful breed early, but I only came to Rottweiler breeding via a difficult detour.

 

As an adult girl, the first BIG dog comes to me, a 6 year old male Doberman. I think this dog awake my love for the BIG DOGS. Since then, the GIANTS have been close to my heart❤️

 

I started breeding in 2006 - it all started with breeding cats.

During this time I built my small family.

 

From 2010  I bred (very successfully) the toy breed (Chihuahua) under my first kennelname called RAW DIAMONDS. We collected a lot of trophies and I had a lot of fun with this sweet tiny breed. In the meantime we moved to the country (Hollen) and in te year 2019 the first female Rottweiler comes to us.

 

When I was looking for a female dog, I immediately noticed that the "old heavy types" (that I knew and loved from my childhood) no longer existed in Germany. So I looked outside the state border and found what I was looking for there. From my breeding years, importing/exporting wasn't a problem for me, so I imported a strong girl/the "bee".

 

"Bee" and I had a very stressful first year (hahaha), we went through a lot of ups and downs ;) But this great dog showed me how great this breed is...

 

...and that's how I got to where I am now... breeding Rottweilers ;)
 

My breeding goals are very high - I attach great importance to dogs that are stable in character and extremely typey, strong, with the correct interior and exterior.

 

It is very important to me that my dogs are all clear-headed and absolutely manageable in their family.

When I selecting the males that I use for my breeding, I pay particular attention to ensuring that I not only breed the “best of the best” in terms of appearance and health, also that each dog has a really good character.

 

Anyone who is looking for crazy beasts is wrong in my kennel...

 

 

I breed according "quality instead of quantity"

 

 

Ok, back to the beginning :)

.... since,like I said, I quickly realized that the type of dog I called a Rottweiler in Germany  was not or could hardly be found anymore,  I came to the Balkans after a long search. Rottweilers like the ones I know from my childhood are still bred there TODAY.

 

Unfortunately the “heavy type” is no longer desired in Germany!!!

 

It is now considered a serious FAULT in the German Rottweiler Association (in the official breed standard). So it quickly became clear to me that I would not or would not like to join this club.

 

So I looked around at different breeders abroad and I was so falling in love from the types them breeding there.

I was warmly welcomed everywhere, it was a completely different atmosphere.  Unfortunately in Germany there is only envy and resentment among breeders!

 

 

The breeders in the Balkans work hand in hand, I was welcomed with open arms and offered great opportunities to work together.

 

So the idea of move was born...

 

At the beginning of 2021 we bought a house in Serbia, in the small town called “JASA TOMIC”.

 

Not a castle - a small nice house that we renovated for our dogs and us during our vacations.

 

For my dogs, my family and me it is the best thing that could have happened to us - Serbia is a beautiful country. In general, the whole Balkan region is really beautiful,... the country, the nature, partly flat, partly mountainous, waterfalls in Bosnia, the sea in Croatia or Montenegro... friendly, warm people, delicious food, everyone who hasn't been there till now should definitely put it on the vacation list - the Balkans are definitely worth a trip...

So it happened as it was supposed to and the BIG move was in August 2022

​

As we all know, beginnings are always difficult :) and even more difficult with a family of 4 and our “small” kennel!

Nevertheless, we managed it well and feel super in our new home in Serbia.
